Calliope Network: Connecting Creative Girls with Artists and Innovators

We are a group of young women at the University of British Columbia who believe that creative girls can achieve their dreams and change the world for the better in the process. We seek to support the creativity of adolescent girls through the development of community and mentorship opportunities.

Join us for the Calliope Conference on November 17th, 2007 from 9:30 - 5pm at UBC.

We envision a weekend where adolescent girls interested in the arts and social change can connect with one another as well as women artists and innovators in our community; where discussions about art, imagination and activism, the possibilities for creative girls, and careers "outside the box" are discussed; where art of all kinds is shared.
